James “Jim” Baker, 65, of Riverton passed away on November 15, 2021. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
James Monroe Baker was born in Austin, MN to Edward and Betty Lee (Dickerson) Baker. He earned his Associates Degree in Welding and taught at Central Wyoming College.
Jim moved to Riverton 32 years ago and met the love of his life, Jaye Ellen Lamore. They were happily married and enjoyed many years together before Jaye passed in 2018.
Jim loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and exploring all over.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his son, Jess Baker; daughters, Rebecca Larson and husband, Donnie, Elizabeth Young, and Summer Baker; grandchildren, Emma, Caleb, Corbin, Olivia, Kyle, Michael, Emily, Kortni, Brooklyn, and Ryder; and sisters, Sharon Holt and Alice Wendt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Betty Lee Baker; and his wife Jaye Ellen Baker.
