A celebration of Life will be held for James "Jim" Medema, on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at their home 11875 Hwy 26. Jim passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
Jim was born September 29, 1963 to Bernard and Christa (Jensen) Medema in Sheridan, Michigan. He and Donna have made a life together for the past 26 years, both retiring this year.
Whether at work or at play, Jim excelled at living life. Jim built beautiful homes, working as a carpenter, he was also a surveyor, truck driver, and mechanic, a true "Jack of all trades". Jim also excelled at play, hunting, fishing, rebuilding cars, arrowhead hunting, really anything that kept him in the great outdoors. It is no wonder he spent his life between Wyoming and Michigan. Jim served his country in the US Army in Germany as tank personnel.
Jim is survived by the love of his life, Donna Johnson, his brother Bernard "Doug" Medema (Toni) and their son Eric Medema, Aunt Diane & Uncle Ron Mitchell, and Donna's entire family who knew Jim as our brother, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
