Sarah Noon, 39, formally of the Wind River Reservation passed away at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT on Saturday, September 24, 2022.  A wake will be held at St. Michaels Parish Hall in Ethete starting at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022.  The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at St. Michaels Parish Hall with burial to follow at Yellow Calf Cemetery.

 

Sarah Angela Noon was born on December 5, 1982 in Phoenix, AZ to Terry Lee Noon, Sr. and Karen Alice (C’Bearing) Noon. Her Native American name was “Forest Echo”. She attended Wyoming Indian schools before receiving her G.E.D. from Emily Griffith School in Denver, CO. After Colorado she moved to Ogden, Utah where she was living at the time of her passing.

 

Sarah was a Christian and attended the Pentecostal Church.

 

She was a stay-at-home mother of four children, Joshua, Joseph, Julian, and Jaela.

 

Sarah loved being with her family, friends, and especially her children.  She enjoyed being outdoors and sightseeing, the mountains were her favorite. She also enjoyed going to the casino.

 

She is survived by her sons, Joshua Noon, Joseph Wheeler, and Julian Wheeler; daughter, Jaela Wheeler; one granddaughter; brothers, Wylie Noon and T.J. Noon; sister, Madell C’Bearing; uncles, Brian Noon and Marcus Willow; and aunts, Gloria C’Bearing, Chippa (Pat) Goggles, and Kissie Quiver; Siblings, Mardell C’Bearing, Wylie (Jessica) Noon, and T.J. Noon; Cousins, Gloria (Wayne) Norse, Coreen WallowingBull, Shanda Howell, Beaver (Leslie) C’Bearing, Trisha (Travis) Goggles, Aleeah Crispen, Michelle Crispen, Kayla Armour, Colton Armour, Sidney Willow, George Quiver, Sherman Quiver, Lionel Quiver, Leticia Quiver, Chris Quiver, Tyler Quiver, Skyler Quiver, Henry Quiver, Lydia Amos, Naomi Amos: Neice, Amber Ironeyes, Numerour grandchildren and families of Noons, C’Bearing and Willow.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Terry and Karen Noon; grandparents, Henry C’Bearing, Sahna (Willow) C’Bearing, and Amos and Josephine Noon; uncles, Paterick C’Bearing, Valentine C’Bearing, Frances Bell, Sr., Jimmy Noon, Sr., and Billy Noon; aunts, Henrietta (C’Bearing) Crispen, and Emma Jean (C’Bearing) Armour; cousins, Francis Goggles, Cyndee Underwood, Juliana C’Bearing, Patricia C’Bearing, and Mike Crispen; and niece, Amber Iron Eyes.
