Johnnie Sullivan, 83, of Arapahoe, WY passed away at the Help for Health Hospice Home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Mountain View Cemetery.
Johnnie Cardell Sullivan was born on March 16, 1939 in Venturia, California to Johnnie Thomas and Emma Lois (Smith) Sullivan. The family moved to Long Grove, Oklahoma where he graduated from Long Grove High School.
Johnnie was a member of the Church of Christ.
On October 26, 1962 he married Diana Jean Martin in Perryton, Texas. Together they raised four sons. They made their home in Rock Springs, Wyoming where Johnnie started his business, Sullivan Rat Hole Drilling. He and Diana moved to the Fremont County area around 1996 and made Arapahoe their forever home. He lost Diana on May 16, 2011.
He enjoyed working, hunting, guns, and his church.
He is survived by his sons and their families, William C. Sullivan, James A. Sullivan, Casey G. Sullivan, and Patrick L. Sullivan; brother, Verney Sullivan; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Emma Sullivan; wife, Diana J. Sullivan; sister, Marlene Ford; and brother, Jim Sullivan.
