Funeral services for Laura Renea Duran, 30, will be held at 10:00 a.m., (date) at Duran residence, 385 Ethete Road. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Mission Cemetery. A Prayer Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., (date) also held at the Duran residence.
Mrs. Duran passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Laura was born on June 16, 1992, daughter of Byron Lawrence Friday and Sarah Marie Whiteplume in Lander, Wyoming. She graduated in 2010 from Wind River High School.
She enjoyed playing basketball and watching baseball as well as camping hiking and traveling. Laura was very gifted in beading and was known for being crafty. Laura loved her kids a lot and enjoyed hanging out with them.
Laura worked at the Shoshone Rose Casino, at Hines General Store as a supervisor and McDonalds as a manager.
Survivors include her husband, Kyle Duran; their children, Tru, Alexander, Syrena and Adrian Duran; her father, Byron Friday; mother-in-law, Lisa Duran; siblings, Harold Friday, Shayna Moss, Justice Whiteplume and Linden Whiteplume; grandparents, William Whiteplume, Lucy and Phillip Mesteth, Francis and Roberta Whiteplume; uncles, Bert Whiteplume, III, Richard and Margie Whiteplume, Darwin Enos, Daniel Enos, Ted and Jen Enos, Anthony and Kellie Mesteth, Nathaniel Whiteplume, Mike Joshua, Gerald Lester, Noah Uses Arrow, Jr.; aunties, Becky Enos, Michelle Pierre, Margaret and Angelo Gutierrez, Johanna Whiteplume, April Whiteplume, Helene Joshua, Myra Joshua.
Mrs. Duran was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Marie Whiteplume; siblings, Herman J. Moss, IV, Derrick S.
