Memorial services for Shobe L. White of Riverton will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Pastor Aaron Justice of Faith Fellowship Church of God will officiate. Cremation has taken place.

Mr. White died at Riverton Memorial Hospital Monday night, June 1, 2009, as the result of a traffic accident. He was 38.

Shobe Lee White was born in Phoenix, Ariz., on Jan. 24, 1971, the son of John Russell White and Joanie Lee (Gomez) White. He grew up and attended school in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

He married his wife Holly in Laughlin, Nev., on May 12, 2001.

Mr. White was a journeyman plumber and had lived in Riverton for two years, coming from Lake Havasu City.

His family said he enjoyed Nascar racing, camping, fishing, four-wheeling, and bike racing.

He is survived by his wife, Holly Leah White of Riverton; sons, Bryce R. Gould of Idaho and Jayme L. Gould of Shoshoni; daughters, Rachelle L. Gould of Mexico and Modavia K. Oatman of Idaho; nine grandchildren; mother, Joanice Lee Bywater of Arizona and Alaska; step-father, Patrick Bywater; grandparents, Ruth Gomez and Vance Gomez.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Russell White.
