No local services will be held for Dorothy Mae Ziegenmeyer-Lemenager, 83, who passed away on January 15, 2023 in Riverton, Wyoming. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Sutter Cemetery in Sutter, California.
Dorothy was born on October 1, 1939, daughter of Manuel and Lydia Sylvia in Gridley, California.
Dorothy was married to Jerome Ziegenmeyer for 52 years before Jerome passed away. On October 18, 2017, Dorothy married Steven H. Lemenager in Yuba City, California.
Dorothy taught at an elementary school for 42+ years while living in California. She and Steve moved to Wyoming to be closer to the mountains. Dorothy was an avid gardener who loved birds and animals, especially cats.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Lemenager and three step children.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerome Ziegenmeyer and her parents.
