No services are scheduled for Betty Cox, 90, who passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in Lander, Wyoming. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery.
Betty Louise Loghry Cox was born on January 16, 1933, daughter of Gerald Henry and Jessie Leona (Clements) Loghry in Burwell, Nebraska. She graduated in class 1951 from Riverton High School.
On May 3, 1952, Betty married Ralph Cox at the Methodist Church in Riverton, Wyoming.
Throughout the years, Betty kept busy gardening and quilting as well as being actively involved in several organizations. Betty helped sew over 200 quilts for the Quilts of Valor Foundation. She also enjoyed making many projects with her sewing buddy, MaryAnn.
The family wishes to thank Mike and Diana Hague for their many years of support and care.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Faye) Cox and Jim (Jeannie) Cox; daughters, Laura (Neil) Hahn and Marlene Cox; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Cox; daughter, Glenda; parents, Gerald and Jessie Loghry; granddaughter, Jennifer Murphy, and Officer Jiame Padron.
