Today heaven called Julia “Judy” Inserra, 84, of Riverton, home on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. No services are planned at this time.
Julia Ann Taylor was born on November17, 1938 in Little Falls, New York to Ralph Emory Taylor and Louisa Elizabeth Scott Taylor. She grew up in Little Falls, Frankfort Center, and Utica, New York.
On July 13, 1957, she married Jospeh Thomas Inserra in Utica, New York. Together they had six children. Five boys and one girl. They later divorced. Judy lived in New Hartford, New York for sixty-four years. She has lived in Riverton, Wyoming for sixteen years.
Judy grew to have a strong belief in God our Father in heaven. Her favorite prayer is The Praying Hands Judy accepted she was going home. She was at a sense of peace with her final journey.
Judy enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, needle point and quilting. She was a beloved fan of John Wayne.
Judy is survived by her children, Joseph Timothy Inserra, Emmitt Lee Inserra, Peter James Inserra, Patrick Steven Inserra, and David William Inserra, her sons; her daughter, Lynne Karen Inserra.
Judy is survived by her brothers, Michael Taylor, Ralph Taylor, and Robert Taylor, sister Betsy Taylor, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Louisa Taylor and her husband, Joseph Thomas Inserra.
