Yogondia Potts, 79, of Riverton, Wyoming passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at Hospice Home. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Yogondia was born October 2, 1944 to Rose Mae Cassingham in Riverton, WY. Rose Mae later married Bud Moore and he raised Yogondia as his own. She grew up and attended school in Riverton.
She married the love of her life, Robert Potts and together they raised five sons and a daughter.
Yogondia was the original grill cook at the Trailhead in Riverton, WY. She also cooked at the Maverick Motel in Lander, WY and the Cove in Riverton, WY. She loved reading, hunting, being outside, exploring, and spending time at the senior center.
Yogondia was active in the America Legion, VFW, the Elks, and a State President in FOE.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years; Robert; sons, Michael, Raymond, Earl and Byron; eight grandchildren; and brothers, Gary and Ross.
Yogandia was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Rose; son, Robbie; daughter, Betty Rose; and sister, Marcie
