Julia Mae Hamilton of Riverton died on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, at Wind River Healthcare in Riverton. She was 86.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Julia Mae Bucannan was born in Abington, Penn., on Feb. 4, 1923, the daughter of Alex and Pearl (Clayton) Bucannan.
Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker, having married Kenneth Earl Hamilton in Claymont, Penn., on Jan. 31, 1942.
The couple moved to Casper in 1973 and to Riverton in 1995.
She was associated with the Jehovah Witness faith.
Her family said Mrs. Hamilton enjoyed cross-stitching, birds, travel, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Hamilton of Riverton; a daughter, Dottie Mae Villegas of Largo, Fla.; four grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren; three sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild, and several siblings.
