Madonna Miller of Riverton died Wednesday, morning, Dec. 16, 2009, at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. She was 93.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton with Father Andrew Duncan officiating. A viewing will be held from noon to 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
Madonna S. Smith was born in Celina, Ohio, on March 11, 1916, the daughter of Andrew and Angeline (Enyart) Smith. She grew up on a farm at Celina, Ohio.
She married Frank J. Miller on Aug. 6, 1939, in Covington, Kentucky.
Mrs. Miller worked in coil winding for General Motors for 30 years.
She was of the Catholic faith.
The couple came to Riverton from Lander in 1990 and had lived in Colorado before that.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; a son, Robert James Miller and his wife Jean R. of Ohio; a daughter, Shirley Ann Allen of Friendswood, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Paul Smith of Beavercreek, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sons, Mike Miller in 1996 and Joseph Miller in 1997, and a sister Irmal Florence of Coldwater, Ohio; brother, Delbert Smith.
