Born and raised in Wyoming, Jason R Piercy unexpectedly left life on earth on 4/23/2024 at the age of 42 in Cheyenne, WY. He grew up in Riverton until the age of 5, then relocated to California with his parents, then they moved back to Riverton shortly after a year. After graduating high school, he moved to Denver to attend college and received a degree in computer technologies landing his career at IBM for six+ years.
It was later in life that he met Ashlee while they were both back in Riverton on their own vacations. Their life together started in 2009.
He was an amazing soul who left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone he met. He was a loving and caring individual, known for his vibrant personality and zest for life. His passion for music, art, and learning new skill and trade was inspiring to those around him. He had an absolute willingness to help others and was always there to lend a listening ear or a helping hand to anyone in need.
Jason's faith in God was a source of direction throughout his journey. His wife takes solace in the thought that their cherished dog, Khaleesi, welcomed him at the gates of Heaven with kisses and hugs, and their bond restored.
Jason's commitment to his wife Ashlee was inspiring, his love for her was evident in everything he did. Despite not having children, they shared their lives with their three beloved dogs, who brought them immense joy and companionship. His wife and dogs meant the world to him. Their love was an inspiration to all who knew them.
Born in Lander, Wyoming on July 6, 1981, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will endure for years to come. His memory will continue to inspire others, serving as a shining example of how a single individual's actions can touch the lives of many.
He is survived by his wife Ashlee Piercy, his mother Cheryl (Marty) Arey, half-sister Jamie Piercy, aunt Sheila Troyer, uncle Jim(Sharon) Smith, Robert Smith(fiancé Maralee), uncle Richard (Pat) Smith, father Vincent(Lori) Piercy, half-brother Brayden Piercy, aunt Vivien Piercy, uncle Vonn Piercy, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Dale(Theresa(Tess)) Piercy, grandparents Gordon(Alvina) Smith, uncle Howard Troyer, uncle Darrell Smith, and uncle Vance Piercy.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 22, 2024 at the Heritage Hall at 1pm for family and friends.
