A Memorial Service will be held for Elmer Enik Page, 84, at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home. Military graveside services will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
Mr. Page passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in Casper at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions.
Elmer was born on February 19, 1940, son of Elmer S. and Lottie Bell (Kimmel) Page in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mr. Page proudly served in the United States Air Force Special Forces from 1958 until 1962. He was an electronics technician on B-52 bombers and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal as well as the Air Force Longevity Service Award upon his honorable discharge.
On June 20, 1958, Elmer married the love of his life Marlys Kay Sorenson in St. Louis, MO. They would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary this coming June.
Elmer moved his wife and family to Riverton in 1980 and opened Page’s Muffler shop. He and Marlys ran the Muffler Shop together for 32 years until they sold their business in 2012.
In his free time, Elmer enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, camping and rock hunting. He also found pleasure in collecting guns and target practice. He loved his horses and hunting dogs but especially was fond of dancing with his beloved wife, Marlys. Mr. Page served as a firearm instructor for the NRA.
Survivors include his wife, Marlys Page of Riverton; sons, Andrew and (Jodi) Page of Riverton and Warren (Steve Rauske) Page of Vancouver, WA; daughter, Peggy (Randy) Sage of McMinville, OR; grandchildren, Bradley (Aubrey) Flowers, Amber (Aaron) Walker, Jessica (Jesse) Woolen, Tyler (Dana) Posey, Derek Page, Abby Page, and 12 beautiful great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edmond Page and sister, Lahoma Roberts.
