Dwain Peay of Riverton, died on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at the age of 54, after battling cancer.
His body will be returned to Utah for burial next to his parents.
A gathering in his honor will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, at the Riverton Elks Club where friends will be invited to share their memories of Mr. Peay.
Dwain Peay was born in Provo, Utah, on Sept. 14, 1955, to Vern Dwain and Barbara (Tarpin) Peay. He moved to Wyoming at the age of 14 and eventually chose Riverton as his permanent home.
After military service with the U.S. Army, Mr. Peay returned to Wyoming to work in the oil field business and eventually became the owner of Dwain Peay Trucking.
His family said he enjoyed hosting his annual party, his dogs, and spending time with his friends.
Survivors include his mother; his brother, Tim; sister, Kristy, and Rockie Bennett; companion, Wendy Evans.
