Carol worked in advertising. While in Cody she worked for KODI radio station and The Cody Enterprise Paper. After moving to Casper, she worked at the Casper Star Tribune and later as a museum curator. After moving to Fremont County, she “retired” and enjoyed life.

Carol enjoyed playing golf, gardening, rock hunting, and bird watching, especially being able travel with her husband, Darwin. Outside of her absolute love for being a student of The Bible, studying history and politics, her greatest joy and pride was her grandchildren and children.
