Scott Lane Inman, 58 of Spring Creek, NV passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2024.  Scott was born on November 21, 1965, in Ventura, CA to Marlon “Corky” and Joyce Inman.

Shortly after he was born, he moved and was raised in Riverton, WY where he loved to help his dad and mom tend to the farm and enjoyed the company of his siblings.  He had a love for his family and friends, country, camping, fishing, hunting, golfing, carpentry, traveling, running any type of equipment, and enjoying all of nature’s beauty.  After graduating from Wind River High School in 1984 he joined the United States Army and proudly served four years as a heavy equipment operator in Missouri, South Korea, and Washington State.  His years of experience as a heavy equipment operator took him to Spring Creek, NV where he decided to raise the joys of his life, his two children Trista and Blaise.  He spent many years running equipment for Barrick Goldstrike and served as a Mine Rescue Team Member.  His 20 + years of mining took him to the Dominican Republic where he fell in love with traveling and the beauty of paradise.

Scott was known for his hard work ethic, generosity, ability to fix anything and everything, giving heart, and go with the flow attitude.  He was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, friend, and confidant.  Scott found love with the beauty of a good view and traveled to South Dakota with views of Mount Rushmore where he bought a house and lived in Sturgis, SD and rode his Harley with anyone who wanted to travel and have a good time. His travels lead him to Colorado where he shared his adventure of living in the Grand Mesa with his grandchildren and created memories that will never be forgotten. He was his grandchildren’s biggest fan and supporter.  He made sure to make it to birthdays, sporting events, and just to visit when he could.

Scott was always the first to volunteer to lend a helping hand and always had a smile on his face when doing so.  Scott’s love and support for his family and friends and anyone close to him will truly be missed!

He is survived by his mother: Joyce Inman, his daughter: Trista Kleimann, son-in-law: Mark Kleimann, grandkids: Layne and Bells Kleimann, and Mali Rhyanne Skye Inman, his sisters:  Patti Tschirgi, Marlene Gisler and husband Chad, his brothers:  Mike Inman and wife Donna, Steve Inman and wife Brenda, his nephews and nieces:  Jessica and Kyle Tschirgi, Tara Ferris, Mike Jr. Inman, and Nikki Fromenthal, Spencer Schlup, Curtis, Branden, and Eric Inman among multiple other nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends whose lives he followed, loved, and cared for.

Scott Inman is preceded in death by his father: Marlon “Corky” Inman, son:  Blaise Inman, grandparents: Leon and Edna Inman.
