Bradford “Brad” Dale, 79, of Riverton, Wyoming passed away at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. A celebration of life is pending.
Bradford James Dale was born on January 9, 1945 in Riverton, Wyoming to Dolly Adelaide (Mock) and Bradford Bert Dale. Brad grew up in Fremont County and graduated from Morton High School. He was a lifelong resident of Fremont County and an enrolled member of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe. Brad was a member of the Episcopal Faith.
On August 31, 1963, he married the love of his life, Connie Karen Dale. He was his wife’s biggest supporter in all of her endeavors up until her recent passing; she preceded him in death on July 12, 2024. Together they raised their three children Bert, Brenda, and Bart.
Brad worked for the Fremont County Road Department as a mechanic and welder. He was very talented working with almost any type of material and an excellent carpenter. He could fix anything and enjoyed doing so; Brad was the go-to guy for family and friends whenever they needed an expert opinion on fixing just about anything. He loved spending time in his shop working on various projects whenever he could get the chance.
Brad loved his family and was a calm, steady constant for each and every one of them. His quiet, witty sense of humor had a way of lighting up any room he was in. His jokes and storytelling will be missed by all who were lucky enough to hear them.
He is survived by his children, Bert Dale, Brenda Dale-Barlow and husband, Steve, Bart Dale and wife, Kristi; brother, Bret Dale and wife, Cathy; grandchildren, Brittany Barlow-Christoffersen and husband, Scott, Celeste Barlow-Pince and husband, Nick, Shanda Barlow and husband, Nic Fenton, Blake Dale and Brodie Dale; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bradford and Dolly Dale; wife, Connie Dale; parents-in-law, William and Elva Iva Stephens; sisters-in-law, Iva Mae and Birdie.
