Bud Tostrude

Arthur Owen "Bud" Tostrude was born March 14, 1941 in Moorehead, Mn. Passed on August 21, 2024 in Riverton, Wy.

Bud's love of horses, saddles and his dogs was known by all. He was an accomplished horseman and loved helping others with their horses and building or repairing saddles. Bud was a farrier in both Mn. and Riverton for 60 yrs. He loved building a new saddle using his talent to create something wonderful. He loved repairing saddles and tack.

He loved visiting with and storytelling with friends and family in his saddle shop. He loved his horses, dogs, motorcycles, guns and knives.

He moved here in 2005 because of the freedoms of the west and seeing the mountains every day.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, and loving family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be Sept. 24th 6:00 p.m. at Midvale Station.
