Nathan Paul Bell, 67, of Arapahoe, Wyoming passed away on Monday, September 9. 2024, at the Billings Hospital Clinic in Billings, Montana. A wake will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 1381 17 Mile Road, Arapahoe, Wyoming. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1381 17 Mile Road, Arapahoe, Wyoming. Cremation will follow the funeral service.

 

Nathan Paul Bell was born on June 27, 1957 in Riverton, Wyoming to Vincent and Ethel (Whiteman) Bell. Nathan graduated from high school at the Flandreau Indian School in Flandreau, South Dakota. Nathan’s Cheyenne Indian name was Singing Eagle and his Arapaho Indian name was Roaring Buffalo Thunder.

 

Nathan married Deborah LaFaive of Norway, Michigan, who preceded him death. Together they raised two children, Joshua and Emily Bell.

 

He worked as a truck driver in Michigan and later moved home to Arapahoe, Wyoming and worked as a Machine Technician for the Wind River Casino.

 

Nathan enjoyed crafting, watching ghost hunting shows, and making You Tube videos.

 

He is survived by his son, Joshua Bell of Eugene, Oregon; daughter, Emily Bell of Norway, Michigan; sister, Tina (Larry) Makeshine; brothers, Tony (Lela) Bell and Eugene Bell; niece, Melissa (Jerel) Makeshine; nephews, Augustine (Randi) Bell, Donald Makeshine, Brandon Makeshine, and Phillip (Isabell) Bell; grandchildren, Joseph Sutherland, Abigail and Evelyn Temple, Lianna and Jordan Bell, Doanld Makeshine, Jr., Kaden Moss, Jordison Blackburn, Easton Kohler, Itachi and Kalyne Bell.

He was preceded in death by hie parents; wife; brother, Phillip Bell; paternal grandparents, Issac and Agnes (Posey) Bell; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Grace (Walkingbear) Whitman of Lame Deer, Montana.

Nathan’s other relatives include families of Bell, Means, Posey, Washington, Soldierwolf, Willow, Redman, Warren, and Lawson. Extended family includes, Whiteman of Lame Deer, Montana, Red Cherries, Spang, and Littlebird.
