Cody Blackburn, 46, of Arapahoe, Wyoming passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. A vigil service with a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Eagle Hall. The funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 16, 2024, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery.
Cody Ray Blackburn was born on April 19, 1978 in Riverton, Wyoming to Larry Dwane and Lucia Ann (Jenkins) Blackburn. He attended St. Stephen’s Indian School and earned his G.E.D. He lived all of his life on the Wind River Reservation.
Cody was baptized into the Catholic faith and also was a member of the Native American Church.
He worked at the Wind River Casino in the housekeeping department.
Cody enjoyed going to the casino, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
