Aleeah was born on August 31, 1974, daughter of John M. Crispin, Jr. and Henrietta J. (C’Bearing) Crispin in Lander, Wyoming. She was raised by Charles and Ida Brown. Her Native American name was Ho3o’niibeinisei, Singing Star Woman.
She lived most of her life in Wyoming, however she attended Hill Creek School and Flandreau Indian School in Flandreau, South Dakota.
Aleeah enjoyed doing arts and crafts. You would always catch her doing something artistic. Some of her favorites included the color purple, the Fall season, movies which included, Vida Lora, Blood In, Blood Out and Selena, and her top songs were “Cookie Jar” by Gym Class, “Hero’s” ft. The Dream, “Girl on Fire” by Pink and “No One” by Alicia Keys. She loved talking with others and was never afraid to start a conversation. Aleeah had a great sense of humor, goofy laugh that would make you laugh yourself and her heart was always in the right place, constantly putting others before herself. If you ever needed a shoulder to lean on and an ear to vent to, she was your go to person. She was always in her own little world pointing out the small things you should be cherishing. Her voice was soft, hardly stern and her kindness would make you embrace her personality without even knowing it.
Survivors include her father, John M. Crispin, Jr.; son, Cole Walker; daughters, Amelia Crispin and Evelyn Jealous of Him; 7 grandchildren; sister, Michelle J. Crispin. Also numerous family members, relatives and friends.
Aleeah was preceded in death by her mother, Henrietta (C’Bearing) Crispin; brother, John M. Crispin, Sr. and Salina and Henry C’Bearing.
