Cynthia Littleshield, 51, of Riverton, Wyoming passed away Monday, November 4, 2024, at Advanced Care Hospital in Billings, Montana. A vigil service with a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church followed by a gathering at Eagle Hall and with wake to follow at 1603 17 Mile Road in Arapahoe, Wyoming. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Arapaho Catholic Cemetery.
Cynthia Marie Littleshield was born on March 11, 1973 in Riverton, Wyoming to Melvin Aloysius Littleshield, Sr. and Margaret Mary (C’Bearing) Littleshield. She was a life long resident of Arapaho, Wyoming. She lived in Sandpoint, Idaho for a short time, but returned home. She graduated from Riverton High School with the class of 1991 and attended Central Wyoming College.
Cynthia was baptized into the Catholic faith and also practiced the traditional Native American faith.
She worked as a finance clerk Fort Northern Arapaho Department of Social Services, at Lite House Factory, Schweitzer Mountain Resort, WalMart, an administrative assistant at N.A.N.C.C.D.F., and her latest job was a case manager for the Northern Arapaho 477 Program.
Cynthia was always up to travel and enjoyed shopping. Above all she enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, driving in the mountains, bowling, swimming, and was an elite member of IHG rewards. She had a way of making everyone feel loved. You would always see Cindi at her nephews and grandchildren’s sports events and tournaments. She was their biggest FAN. Also, was a Denver Bronco football fan.
She is survived by her dad, Melvin Littleshield, Sr; uncle, Loyd Littleshield; sons, Cole Littleshield, Roberto Hernandez, Elijah (Christine) Littleshield, David Black, and Jordan Black; daughters, Rosie (Derek) Arthur, Mikayla (Jared W.) Littleshield, and Kylee (Elijah R.)
