Precious & Sinaloa Pogoree Gould

Precious Rose Mary Gould, 22, and her unborn daughter, Sinaloa Ava Pogoree, both of Fort Washakie, Wyoming, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, in an accident in Ethete, Wyoming. A wake will be held at 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 716 Tinebea Drive, a second wake will be at 10:00 am on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Eagle Hall. The funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at St. Stephens’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Arapaho Catholic Cemetery.

 

Precious Rose Mary Gould was born on November 13, 2001 in Riverton, Wyoming to Perry Verdell Gould, Sr., and Jessica Brown Whiteplume. Sinaloa Ave Pongoree was born sleeping on November, 8, 2024. Precious’s home was the Wind River Reservation, although she did live in Utah for a couple years.

 

Precious was a member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe and the Native American Church. Both made her very proud.

 

She graduated from Arapaho Charter with her high school diploma, being the only one of her brother and sisters to receive her high school diploma.

 

She worked at the Wind River Hotel and Casino.

 

Precious loved pink, Starbucks, purses, shopping for handbags, perfume, makeup and nails. She like the designer things. She was a hard worker, loved Chicken Alfredo and Chinese, movies, T.V. series, especially, Badies and Midwest. She loved spending time with her family, friends, traveling, eating out, and going to the gym. Her grandma, Winoa taught her how to ride horse and she enjoyed it very much.

 

She loved her fiancé, Joseph Pogoree, and he never left her side. The were planning on marrying in just three days before the accident.  She and Joseph were already in love with their daughter and were counting the days until her birth. She was very proud of brothers, Daniel and Micheal, Michael was in the Army is being deployed in July,

 

Precious is survived by her fiancé and father to Sinaloa, Joseph Pogoree; parents, Jessica R. Whiteplume and Perry V. Gould, Sr.; foster mom, Winoa Whiteman; grandparents, Michael James Gould, Sr. and Rosalind Marie Shorty; foster grandparents, Jody and Forrest Whiteman; brothers, Ernesto Lee Brown, Perry Verdell Gould, Jr., Preston Duke Gould, Payson Linus Gould, Michael Aaron Gould, Jr., Daniel Anthony Wesley Whiteplume (Danjoo); foster brothers, Bow Brown and Antares Perry; sisters, Lena Mae Gould, Priscilla Florence  Gould, Jennifer Rose Whiteplume; foster sisters, Dessirae Willow and Dayahgwy Perry; father-in-law, Joseph Addison; mother-in-law, Jan Pogoree; sisters-in-law, Danna Genereaux, Peyron Genereaux, Darcie Genereaux, Dalene Pogoree, Sinead Pogoree, Keeper Pogoree, Shoshoni Pogoree and Temela LeBeau; brothers-in-law, Tilden Tillman, Temper Tillman, and Tifton LeBeau; other family members, Angel C’Bearing, Nevaeh Noise, Josiah Hernandez, Treyvon FightingBear, Ethan and Rolanda FightingBear. All of these are also the survivors of Sinaloa.

 

Precious is proceed in death by her grandparents, Mary Edith Washington, Ira John Whiteplume, Gerald Dale SittingEagle (Duke); great grandparents, Anthony and Odelia SittingEagle; aunty, Lena Mae Gould; and uncles, Dale and Dana Eagle, George and Frances SittingEalge. All of these also proceed Sinaloa in death.
