Funeral Service
Marjorie Noble, 91, a longtime resident of Riverton, Wyoming passed away on November 12, 2024, at Davis Hospice in Cheyenne, Wyoming after a lengthy battle with cancer. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Davis Funeral Home in Riverton, Wyoming with internment at Mountain View Cemetery.
Marjorie L. Beck was born on January 12, 1933, in Lander, Wyoming, to Warren R. and Mildred A. Beck. She graduated from Dubois High School with the class of 1950. She attended Doane College in Crete, Nebraska and Casper College in Casper, Wyoming.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
On October 21, 1954 she married the love of her life, Chauncey D. Noble in Dubois, Wyoming. They were married for 30 years before Chauncey passed on November 15, 1984. Together they had three children, Daniel, Deborah, and David. Chauncey had two children from a previous marriage, Larry and Marilyn.
Marjorie was a homemaker and worked for Mountain Bell for years as an executive secretary. Following Chauncey’s death Marjorie worked as a secretary for Clifford H. Moore Accounting.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Marjorie enjoyed gardening, visiting with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Daniel W. Noble and wife, Shelly of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Deborah K. Bracken and husband, Steve of Riverton, Wyoming, and David T. Noble of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandchildren, Jacob, Alicia, Brandy, Korby, Mycami, Garrett, Nicholas, Nicole and Chris; and great-grandchildren, Kade, Emma, Gavin, Estrella, Tanner, Rylee, Tyrell, Tanna, Q’ora, Afton, Edwin, Lydia, MaKyla, Taylee and Brexton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Mildred Beck; husband, Chauncey D. Noble, brother, Robert W. Beck and his wife Mary Etta Beck and their son John Beck, granddaughter, baby Bracken and great grandson, Walker D. Wilson.
