Funeral services for Pauline Lower, age 93, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Davis Funeral Home, with interment following at Mountain View Cemetery. Pauline passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2024, in Casper, Wyoming.

Pauline was born Hazel Pauline Mason on February 8, 1931, in Montrose, Colorado, the second of twelve children born to Gurnie and Letha (Clark) Mason. On September 8, 1951, she married Lehman L. English in Weona, Arkansas. After Lehman's passing on March 2, 1973, Pauline found love again and married Jerry Lower on December 3, 1976, in Jeffrey City, Wyoming. They shared their lives together until Jerry's passing on July 29, 2016.

While Pauline lived in various places, including Big Piney, Douglas, and Nevada, she spent the majority of her life in Fremont County, Wyoming.

Pauline was a woman of many talents and interests. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, and working on puzzles. A gifted cook, she also had a deep passion for quilting. In 2015, she lovingly created 25 quilts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a cherished gift that spoke to her generosity and love for her family. Pauline’s greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will live on in their hearts.

She is survived by her children, Calvin F. English, Letha Music, and Lorri (Tim) Ruffing; her sister, Cassie McDonald; along with 17 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Gurnie and Letha Mason; her two husbands, Lehman English and Jerry Lower; seven of her brothers; one sister, Thelma Russell; her son, Jesse Eugene English; and son-in-law, Larry Music.

Everyone is invited to the Elks after the graveside from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
