Thomas “Tom” Kasper, 93, of Riverton, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. A vigil service with a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Davis Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM, followed by inurnment at Mountain View Cemetery.

Tom was born on December 13, 1931, to Joseph Kasper and Marth Lucinda (Congelton) Kasper in Casper, Wyoming. He grew up in Casper, graduating from Natrona County High School.

Baptized into the Catholic faith, he was a devoted member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church and an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

On June 27, 1953, Tom married the love of his life, Cecilia Mae Miles, in Lander, Wyoming. Together, they shared a wonderful life, living in Alaska for 17 years before settling in Riverton, Wyoming, and spending their winters in Arizona. Tom worked as a mechanic and retired from BTI, a career he truly enjoyed.

He is survived by his loving children: James Joseph (Kelley) Kasper, Timothy John (Kim) Kasper, Nella “Susie” Sue (Chris) Kasper-Wright, and Anna Marie (Ed) Kasper-Wolfe. He was the proud grandfather of five and the cherished great-grandfather of six. He is also survived by his brother, John F. Kasper, and his sister, Patricia Kasper-Cheney.

Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cecilia Mae Miles-Kasper; his parents, Joseph and Marth Kasper; five sisters; and five brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, or the donor’s choice.

Tom’s life was a testament to faith, family, and hard work, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
