Graveside services for Jean E. Wright of Riverton will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton. Pastor Vernon Boehlke will officiate.
Mrs. Wright died at Westward Heights Care Center in Lander Monday morning, March 15, 2010, at the age of 86.
Jean. E. Davis was born in Casper on Sept. 16, 1923, the daughter of Henry Winter Davis and Elizabeth (Hannibal) Davis. She lived at Wind River as a child, was graduated from high school in Lander, and had lived in Riverton most of her adult life.
She married Lester Wright in Riverton on Aug. 10, 1978.
Mrs. Wright was a caregiver for the elderly and a baby sitter for most of her life.
She was of the Lutheran faith and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Her family said she enjoyed playing bingo, taking drives, and helping people.
Survivors include her cousins, Allison Bodan of Buffalo, Dorothy Redland of Uvalde, Texas, Jim Davis of Lakewood, Colo., Patsy Jarrard of Kaycee, Waugh "Budsy" Murphy of Calif., and Karla Davis of Lander; many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Wright, in 2001.
Memorials may be made to Westward Heights Care Center or the Trinity Lutheran Church of Riverton, in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main, Riverton, WY 82501.
