Funeral services for Korie L. "Kor" Johnston of Riverton are at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, at Calvary Baptist Church in Riverton. Pastor Richard Morgan, Sr. will officiate.
Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
Miss Johnston died on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. She was 27.
Korie Lynn Johnston was born in Riverton on July 7, 1982, to Ronald Allen Johnston and Feline Marie (Osterkorn) Johnston.
She lived most of her life in Riverton and was a professional dog and cat groomer. She was a caregiver for her grandmother who has Parkinson's disease.
Miss Johnston attended the Calvary Baptist Church and the Women's Bible Study group.
Her family said she loved tigers, red roses, all animals, spending time with her niece Alana and nephew Seth, enjoyed grooming, and her family, friends, and church family.
Survivors include her parents, Feline M. Johnston and Ronald A. Johnston; grandparents, Maryanne Osterkorn, Walter R. Osterkorn, Hoss and Ann Johnston; identical twin sister, Kira A. Scott and her husband Derek A. Scott; niece, Alana M. Scott; nephew, Seth A. Scott; brothers, Wesley A. Johnston and Ronald Johnston, Jr.; aunt, Lynx Osterkorn; four aunts and one uncle on her paternal side; cousins, Marshall and Zeek Osterkorn and many additional cousins on her paternal side; fiancé, Brad Taylor.
