Ronald Paul Leiting, 84, of Hudson, Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. No services will be held per Ron's wishes. The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Spring 2025.
Ron was born on January 23, 1941, in Randolph, Nebraska, to Frank and Susan (Meyer) Leiting.
On February 12, 1982, he married Donna Reddon in Lander, Wyoming. The couple spent eight years in Jeffrey City before relocating to Casper, where they lived for 15 years. In 2000, they moved to Hudson, Wyoming, where they have resided ever since. Mr. Leiting worked for KN Energy for 32 years, retiring in 2000.
Ron enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He was also known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to others.
Survivors include his wife, Donna of Hudson, Wyoming; step-sons, Tom Gustin of Eagar, AZ, Robert Gustin of Douglas, WY and Bill Gustin of Elko, NV; step-daughters, Jeanette Morris and Betty Lou Gustin of Hudson, WY; one sister; and 7 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren and 1 great greatgrandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
