Lois Nadine Long, 87 of Pavilion, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from natural causes.
She was born on July 29, 1937, in Staffordville, Kansas. She moved to the Pavillion area in 1971 with her husband, Roland, and their children to live on the family farm.
In her early years, Lois enjoyed spending time playing cards with her husband and sister, and she was known for her knack for cooking delicious meals at family gatherings and holidays. Her warmth and love for family were at the center of many cherished memories.
Lois is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland Long, and all of her numerous siblings.
She is survived by her three sons, Mike Long of Pavilion, Mitch Long of Spokane, WA, and Matthew Long of Montrose, CO; her daughters-in-law; as well as numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Davis Funeral Home and Help for Health Hospice for the excellent care Lois received during her final days.
Lois often spoke of reuniting with her husband in heaven, and now, her dream has come true. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
