No services are scheduled for Jeanette S. Vigil, 80, who died on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place.
Jeanette Scott was born on July 8, 1930 in Roundup, Mont., the daughter of Glen E. and Nettie (Mullenax) Scott.
On June 16, 1959, she married Roger W. Vigil in San Francisco, Calif.
She moved to Riverton in March of 1996, coming from Florida where she had lived since 1968. The couple lived in Hawaii, Virginia, South Carolina and California while Mr. Vigil was serving with the U.S. Navy.
Her family said Mrs. Vigil was an avid doll collector. They said she also enjoyed talking on the Internet to Boston Terrier dog owners, going to Reno, Las Vegas, Wendover, Nev., and elsewhere to play the slot machines.
Survivors include her husband, Roger, of Riverton; son, Cameron Vigil of Vallejo, Calif.; daughters, Shirley Mayo of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Deborah Lear of Lovina, Mont.; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Scott and Bud Scott, and sister, Vera Powers.
Mrs. Vigil was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Floyd and James Scott, and sister, Illa Wycoff.
