Funeral services for former Riverton resident, Sandra K. Smith of Casper are at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. The Rev. O.G. Garcia officiates. Interment follows at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
Viewing is from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith died at her home in Casper on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at the age of 68.
Sandra Kaye Bell was born in Abilene, Texas, on Dec. 4, 1941, the daughter of J.T. and Evelyn T. Bell.
She married Alva "Pete" Smith on Feb. 8, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nev.
The couple moved to Riverton in 1983 and Mrs. Smith moved to Casper in 2005.
Mrs. Smith was a Licensed Practical Nurse in California and a Certified Nurses' Aide at Wind River Healthcare in Riverton. She worked as a home health aide before she became a nurse.
Her family said she enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, fishing, and camping.
Survivors include her son, Richard Baker of Casper; daughters Karen Vincent of Casper and Donna Heatley and husband Rob of Riverton; grandchildren, Scott Vincent of Riverton, Megan Vincent of Sheridan, Hailey Vincent of Casper; Debra Klingammann of Helena, Mont., Zachary Clark of Riverton, Nichol Heatley of Riverton and Randall Obannon of Casper; numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Smith; son, Monty Baker; parents, J.T. Bell and Evelyn Wilson; two brothers, and one sister.
