Michael David Goich, 35, made his trip to heaven on Monday, April 14, 2025 in Riverton, Wyoming. A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon, Friday, April 25, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Riverton with a potluck to follow.

 

Michael was born on January 28, 1990 in Riverton Wyoming, son of Michael and Lydia Goich, making him a lifetime Riverton resident and oldest of five siblings.

 

Michael loved playing pool and was an avid collector of Magic the Gathering. Some would call Michael a video game enthusiast, his favorite game being Final Fantasy 7. Michael was a lifelong Raiders fan. He would definitely be described as having a funny and goofy personality but in turn could be very serious when it came to his family. Some would even say that he had a dark sense of humor. Michael worked in the oilfield most of his life. He loved to cook and mostly showed that love by feeding people that he cared about the most. 

 

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael Dan Goich; his little brother, Daniel Willis Goich; his grandfather, Daniel Goich; grandmother, Cheri Mills; grandma, Sherry Stevens; grandpa, Johnny Gunner Grylls; great aunt, Vicky Kidwell; great grandpa, Weldon Stevens; great great grandma Lydia Grylls; and great uncle, Mike Goich.

 

Michael is survived by his mother, Lydia Longtine of Riverton; brother, Brian Goich of Gillette, WY; sisters, Elizabeth (Tylor) Rogers of Riverton and Sasha (Johnathan) Goich of Riverton; Michael’s children, Amile and Freya; aunts and uncles, David and Debra Snapp as well as Tyler Goich; cousins, Aleena McBride and family, Jamie Weese and family, Kellie Mines and family, and Jack Goich and family, Travis Hernandez and Melanie Klausner; great aunts and uncles, Bobbi Mines, Porter (Carolyn) Davis, and Vonnie Goich.

 

Michael had a large family which included many nieces, nephews, and friends as well as many friends that became family that Michael would want mentioned are the Roman, Pulver, and Lemley families.
