A celebration of life for Linda F. Mills of Riverton is at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Riverton.
Mrs. Mills died at Riverton Memorial Hospital on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011. She was 63.
Linda Faye Edwards was born in Harlowton, Mont., on May 18, 1947, the daughter of Harold Owen Edwards and Eva E. (Abney) Edwards. She was graduated from high school in Harlowton and Billings Vo-Tech Nursing School.
Mrs. Mills lived in Sheridan for 25 years and moved to Riverton 10 years ago.
She was a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked at the Veterans' Administration Hospital in Sheridan for 18 years as an LPN. After moving to Riverton, she worked for two years at the Detox Center, two years at Morning Star Manor at Fort Washakie, and then, upon retirement, became an active volunteer.
She was active at the Cornerstone Church, a volunteer for the Set Free Church, and volunteered at the All About Wyoming store in downtown Riverton.
Her family said Mrs. Mills enjoyed decorating and making rugs from rags.
Survivors include her son, Steven Allen Johnson, his wife Angel, and their daughter, Heather Bea-Lynda Johnson of Albany, Oregon; brothers, Mike Edwards of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and Dennis Edwards of Harlowton, Mont.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold O. and Eva E. (Abney) Edwards.
