Marjorie B. "Marge" Garcia died at her home in Dubois on Saturday morning, April 9, 2011. She was 90. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at the Elliott Cemetery in Wilson at a later date. Marjorie Bernice Grant was born in Jackson on July 30, 1920, the daughter of William J. and Evelyn Mary (Brassfield) Grant. She grew up in Jackson and moved to the Mesa, Ariz., area for 10 years before returning to Wyoming. She was baptized into the Episcopal faith. Mrs. Garcia was a homemaker, having married Melvin G. Wilson in 1938. He died in 1972. Her family said Mrs. Garcia enjoyed sewing and knitting, loved to watch the deer near her home, riding motorcycles, square dancing, doing crossword puzzles, and loved the mountains and the desert. Survivors include sons, Bryon Wilson and his wife Joy of Dubois, and Grant Wilson and his wife Carol of Gilbert, Ariz.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Jack Grant and Bob Grant; a sister, Mary Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin Wilson; a daughter, Louise Hayden, and a brother, Bill Grant.
