Dorothy A. "Billie" Johnson of Lander died at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. She was 79.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
Dorothy Ann "Billie" Gebo was born in Bridger, Mont., on June 29, 1931, the daughter of William Henry Gebo and Emma Marie (Hett) Gebo.
Mrs. Johnson was a housewife and mother, having married Claude R. Johnson in Green River on Aug. 17, 1948.
She has lived in several states over the years, spending the last ten years in Hereford, Texas before moving to Lander, WY one and a half years ago.
Her family said she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and crafts.
Survivors include sons, Bruce Johnson of Hereford, Texas, Wayne Johnson of Guymon, Okla., and Johnny Johnson of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Patricia McOmie of Lander; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a sister, Gertrude Croney of Roswell, N.M.; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude; a son, Elever; a sister, Margaret, and her parents.
