Graveside services for Caroline M. "Carol" Jacques of Riverton are at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
Ms. Jacques died at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the age of 77.
Caroline Marie Gordon was born in Roscoe, Neb., on Oct. 12, 1933, the daughter of Ellsworth "Bill" Gordon and Katherine (Miller) Gordon. A long-time Fremont County resident, she was graduated from Pavillion High School.
In June of 1951, she married Jim J. Jacques. They later divorced
She worked as a bookkeeper for Midvale Irrigation, the High Country Senior Center in Dubois, and Giddings Construction.
Ms. Jacques was of the Lutheran faith.
Her family said she enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, traveling, sewing, and crocheting.
Survivors include a son, Richard J. "Dick" Jacques and Cathleen Bates; daughters, Linda Burhans and husband James and Sandra Dailey and husband Don; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Alice Gantenbein.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Katherine Hill.
