Eldora F. Kongable of Riverton died on Friday, July 1, 2011, at Wind River Healthcare in Riverton. She was 93.
Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be next to her husband in Dillon, Colo.
Eldora Fontella Farley was born in Grand Junction, Colo., on June 25, 1918, the daughter of Carl and Etta (Ludwick) Farley. She grew up in Colorado.
Mrs. Kongable was a homemaker and had worked as postmaster in Dillon, Colo in the late 1940s. With her husband, a Methodist minister, she lived in various communities in Wyoming, Colorado, and Montana. She had lived in Riverton for 15 years, coming here from Lovell.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the National Federation of Women's Clubs, and past president of the Wyoming Federation of Women's Club.
Her family said she liked to crochet and also quilted for many years.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mary Giberson of Riverton; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister; a granddaughter, Audray Giberson; her first husband, Glenn Giberson and her second husband, the Rev. Albert Kongable; a daughter, Sue Wigington; son-in-law, Dennis Wigington, and son, Doug Giberson.
