DeLay, Clifford Eugene 'Gene'

Rob Bogart He helped turn a lot of boys into men. We went pretty far back. He coached me from 6th grade and went into high school football a year after I did. He expected a lot and got it. I am sure he will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Gene. My daughter Joni will be sad to hear of his passing, as am I. She called him "Grampy" for years. He was married to my mother, Delores, for 15 years, which was left out of the obituary, but I hold no hard feelings. I really liked Coach DeLay when I went to high school in Kensington, Kansas. Also, he was my 7th grade teacher. My condolences to Don, Jon and Tim. Jan Knight
