Heron, Jack Edward "Coach"

Joe, Barbara, Becky and any additions since the early 90's: Peggy and I were stunned with the announcement in today's Sacramento Bee sports section, January 12th, 2012, of Jack passing away. Googled and found the Davis Funeral Home announcement and know inside he passed away happy with the most important people by his side, his family. He loved no one more than you guys.

I also rediscovered my love for him as a father-figure and friend that was buried with non-association this last 20 years. I promise though that I will not try to out-grieve you. Your loss has to be terrific.

I have lots more positive stuff to say, but will wait for a better opportunity.

To Joe, Barbara, Becky, all loving family & friends of Jack,

I am saddened to hear of Jack's passing. As all of us who knew him, he was a wonderful, loyal, and honorable man and I am sure he will be missed by all. I personally will always remember our all to brief relationship of a truly loving man. I will remember the Sac State basketball and other special experiences. As I remember him, he was completely devoted to his family and they meant more to him than anything on this earth. We all will have many treasured memories of him forever, and I believe he will always be watching over us. He will always be in my heart, as I am sure yours as well.
