You are all in my prayers as I am in Alaska and can't attend the funeral. I enjoyed taking communion to Bernard; we always shared a good laugh.

Eternal rest grant unto Brother Bernard, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him, May he rest in peace. Amen. O Lord hear my prayer. and let my cry come to you. O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the souls of your departed servants the remission of all their sins, that through our prayers they may obtain that pardon which they have always desired. Amen.

God has taken Bernard and ended his journey on earth...he is now at peace and with his loving Father and his wife...however that does not make it any easier on his family...your parents are supposed to be here for you forever. Please know that your pain and sorrow are in my prayers and let all the wonderfuly memories see you through the lonesome times you will have when you find yourself really missing your dad.
