I WORKED WITH HER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING AND WE BECAME CLOSE FRIENDS AND I KNOW I WILL MISS HER CHEERFUL ATTITUDE EVEN WHEN SHE WAS HAVING MEDICAL PROBLEMS. SHE ALWAYS ASKED ABOUT JACK AND FAMILY AND I KNOW HOW MUCH THE FAMLY WILL MISS HER. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.

My memories of Karen where always of her smiling and laughing. I remember reading her columns and articles in the Riverton Ranger. She had a great talent and we were all fortunate that she shared it through her writing.

To the Family of Karen; I was saddened to hear of her passing. Karen and the rest of the larson family were such joys to be around and with, growing up close by their home. Karen was a joy to be around both in high school and working for the Ranger, I learned a lot from her and will miss being able to tap in to her vibrent wonderful talent and will miss her smile and good cheer as i am sure her family will too. You have my deepest sympathany and please if at any time i can do anything, please don't hesitate to call on me.. Don, Johnny, Karlene and family: John and I are so sorry for your loss. Karen was such a warm-hearted, fun-loving gal. She was so easy to be with and her smile, laugh and wit made you feel warm all over. She will be sorely missed. Our most heartfelt sympathy to you all.

I had such respect for Karen at the Ranger ( as a paper boy ) and through her writing. She had alot of wisdom at a young age which I'm sure she took along throughout her life.
My heart goes out to the family. She will be missed by so many.

I shall so miss Karen and her strength. So many good memories over the years and she was always up and always ready for a new adventure. I believe Karen truly knew what the word "friendship" meant. She was a true friend! Hugs to all of you as you say your final good byes. I'm out of town, or I would be there Saturday. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

Dear Don, Karlene, John, and Families,

I was so sorry to hear about your sister’s death. I remember Karen fondly and remember listening to her tell great stories of her interests and travels.

She seemed to have the same keen sense of humor that the rest of you have and that beautiful Flo shared with the world.

I’ve heard lots of stories about your family growing up in the little house there in Riverton and I’m hoping that the good memories will be a comfort to you while you grieve this loss.

A special lady and always good for a hug and a big smile whenever our paths crossed since we met as teenagers.
