Corcoran, Kelly Robert
Kelly was a blessing to our family. He was a very gifted man. He was always willing to lend a hand on any project.
He was a hard & eager worker. Marilyn & I considered him a dear friend.
I had had a project that Phil had more or less promised to do for me for
oh lets say about 7 years. We had remodeled our home and added a bedroom
and bathroom. We had left a space at the end of the closet for a built in
bookcase and desk. Time went on and we could never seem to get the time to
do it and Phil was always busy or too tired to get it done. He was going
to be gone the week before Christmas and I had a small window of opportunity
to get it done so Phil would not have to do it with his busy schedule.
I ask Kelly if he would help me do it and surprise Phil. I wasn't sure
Phil was going to be happy about it because he did want to do it, but we
knew that it was in his heart to do it but the body just wasn't able to do
it as tired as he was after working so hard. So...I went ahead and ask
Kelly to help me in the about 4-3 day span. He was so excited to do it and
so we started our plans and as soon as Phil left we got busy and built
in the bookcase. He was so pleased to help me. We had a good time with
the project and it was all done before Phil got home. Kelly did a beautiful job and I am so happy with the bookcase. I think of Kelly every time I look at it.
We have some good memories of Kelly and I know that there were some really
touch times for him but he had a heart of gold.
He used to come over and borrow Phil's tools until he could build up his
own inventory of work equipment so we got to see quite a bit of Kelly.
When he got his truck and equipt it for all his tools he couldn't wait
to come over to show us each and everytime he made modifications to it.
He was so proud of he truck and tools.
We definitely remember Kelly with Love in our hearts.
