To Signe's family,
I send sympathy on behalf of the Hartvik Garsjo family. We are sad to learn of Signe's passing at a somewhat young age. None of our family can attend the service, but we want you to know that we will miss her Christmas letters and occasional visits to NE Montana.

Just as I posted my condolences, the song "Angel By Your Side" by Francesca Battistelli began playing.

By reading her obituary, I would have to say it was the perfect song for Signe.

God's Peace.

Signe was a great lady in every way.She lived the good life and was a devout christian. There is no doubt in my mind that she went home to her Lord and Savior. I met her when we moved into the Big Four community, north of Nashua in 1944, and we have been friends ever since. our prayers go out to her family and friends, she will be sorely missed. Godspeed on her journey home to reunite with those who have gone on before.

Signe was a wonderful woman. I am sorry to hear of her passing and your family will be in our prayers.

The Aspinwall Family are being remembered in my thoughts and prayers. Mrs. Aspinwall was a very AWESOME teacher who I adored.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. She was a wonderful teacher and I had the utmost respect for her. She was one of the teachers I can say I truely enjoyed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

I'm so sorry to hear of Signe's passing. I have a lot of wonderful memories of her, of course, and also the many, many times I saw her and Jim walking around Riverton hand in hand! My deepest sympathy to your family. Sig and Ron together again!

(If I could have spoke to you one more time, here's what I would have said)

Hi Gram,
You have always been the patriach of our family, and the one constant that I could count on. No matter what situation I found myself in, I could always talk to you. I came to rely on your confidence in me. Your re-assuring words, and just the sound of your voice was more than enough to make me smile. I'm so sorry for everything Gram. Your love and devotion to me is something I may never understand, and although I didn't alway's heed your advice, it didn't fall on deaf ears. I promise I loved you Gram. Being on this Earth without you almost seems impossible. The lives you touched will never forget you. I'm really going to miss you. I bet there are a lot children in Heaven that didn't have a Grandma, but now they do, and in my biased opinion, they got the best one! I can't wait to see you again, and have you rub my back. Say Hello to my Mom and Gramp for me. Your work here is done Gram, you can go home now. I love you so much.

Phillip and Debbie, Your wonderful mother will be missed by so many. I was in her class and remember loving it. She made the work seem like fun. She was always smiling, she had "the joy of the LORD". Proverbs 31:27-28 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Yep, that sounds like Signe.

Debbie and Family - GOD BLESS YOU During this time with great sustainability in CHRIST OUR SOLID ROCK. ONE DAY SOON we all will be together with those that have gone on before us, to help the Lord prepare a place for us. I know that it seems like a sad ending of a life, but I have faith that your mom is on a wondrous journey to reap her just rewards. Hers was a good and blessed life and the happiness and joy that she brought to all will live on in her memory.

It was always a joy to see the warm and engaging smile of Signe. My only regret is that I didn't get to know her better. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Phillip, so very sorry that you lost your mother. My prayers are with you. Know she is now with God.

YOUR PARENTS WERE GREAT NEIGHBORS & FRIENDS

Signe was a wonderful friend to Greg and I. We enjoyed many a bible studies and great meals with Signe and Jim, 1995-2000 and we have moved back this year and enjoyed her Christian Spirit again, if only for a short time. She was a great inspiration to everyone, her Christian marriage and Attiude, reaching out to all. She will be sorely missed, but I smile, because she is now with the Lord God and will be joined with Jim and her relatives. Her memories will be forever in our hearts, as she touched Greg and I, as we studied the WORD with her. May God Bless Philip and Debbie as they cared for her during her journey to the Lord.

Every memory I have of you is filled with happiness. I will always remember your warm smile, infectious laughter and the loving words you spoke at my wedding. The lives you touched will forever be enriched for knowing you.

Mrs. Aspinwall was one of my favorite teachers. I am sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family.

Signe was m babysitter wheen I was a young tike and I have always had a special place in my heart for her. GOD BLESS

Phil, and Debbie. I knew and loved your mom very much. I remember the summer we spent at Mrs. Strand farm. Signe and me and all six of our children. I will never forget the fun and good times we had that summer. I played bridge with signe and had many hours of fun with her and Jim when we all lived in Colorado. Signe was truly a wonderful person and good friend. You kids where blessed with a mother like her. One more angel will grace the heavens with her being there. I will miss her very much. please accept our condolsences from my family, Jim who passed this Jan 21 of this year, Dawn, Eve and Jamie.

I am remembering a bright, friendly face being nice to the new kid in school. I am saddened at her passing, but happy that she is with ler Lord and her husband. My condolences to the family, but especially to my long-ago friend, Palmer.

I am so sorry that I can't be with the family at this time. Signe has been such an important part of my life for the past 40 some years. I will miss her terribly but am consoled by the knowledge that she and Jim are together and maybe the four of us will have fun together in a perfect place of peace and joy.
