I am so sorry to hear about Marty's passing. I worked with him for many years at True Value. I will be praying for you as you go through this very sad time.

I am saddened to learn of Marty's passing. He and I worked together at True Value for many years. I always looked forward to seeing him at market because I knew he'd have some funny joke or story to tell. He was always entetaining. RIP Marty!

Marty was always there to lend an ear or give helpful advice. He was friendly, professional, and had a great sense of humor. I know he will be missed by many and my prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

My prayers and thoughts go to the family of Marty. He was always very proud of his family and full of life and live it to the fullest. I always knew that when Marty was around we would get a good joke or two.. Prayers to all the family.

Was saddened to read about Marty's passing in the Ranger. I was out of town for quite some time and when I returned I missed seeing him at 5:30 a.m. at Teton Althetic Club. I fondly remember his jokes and sense of humor. God be with you at this difficult time.

My love and prayers for the Mason family. I have wonderful memories of Marty during high school sports with Misty. Always enjoyed our Trailhead visits after games. Thinking of all of you in this tough time.

The first time I met Marty was when I was a young coach and Matt was in football, then basketball in the middle school. He was always so supportive and loved to watch the kids play. Later, we would run into each other and visit like a day hadn't gone by. I really enjoyed our little talks at 4:00 a.m. in the pitstop, or in the afternoons elsewhere. Even though our meetings were too infrequent, I always enjoyed them. He had an awesome laugh, and a great love for Matt and Misty. I am so glad to have known him, and so sorry for his passing.

Did not Marty that well other than are visits while Misty was playing sports or at track meets. Marty and the rest of you did know and love our Jennifer as she spent many happy moments with all of you. I know that you are a family full of faith and love as is ours. I did see Marty often on my early walks. Just a hello and how is your day was always great.

Candy and Family...my deepest condolence's to you all. My earliest childhood remembrances always have Marty in the mix. Marty had a great heart...he was always more than kind to me as we would bump into each other over the years. Together he and I would probably have made more than one sunday school teacher at Storm Lake CofC want to retire. However, based on all of our late life conversations I think Marty had a very abiding kind of assumptive faith. I look forward to our continued conversations on the other side. Tom J

We just read of Marty's death in the SL news paper. We wanted to say we have great memories of Marty and Mike does from working with Marty at Douglass Clothing/Don Zimmer....We are so saddened by the news and will keep you and your entire family in our prayers. I haven't been to any class reunions for years, but have such found memories of cheerleading and HS with you both! Take care
