Knobel, Joanne

We will always have fond memories of Joanne from the time she insisted we take a foreign exchange student through her beloved EF Program. Joanne was very persistent! She was so fun loving, and always up for any adventure. We will miss her.

I always enjoyed Joanne - as a customer and a friend. She will be missed; my prayers for her and her beloved friends and family.

As I look up to the skies above,
The stars stretch endlessly–
But somehow all those rays of light
Seem dimmer now to me.
As I watch the morning sun appear,
The shadows still don’t fade-
As if the brightest light of all
Was somehow swept away.

Though I see the branches swaying,
And watch their dancing leaves–
The echoes carried on the wind
Don’t sound the same to me.
As I listen to the morning birds
Sing softly from afar–
It seems to be a mournful tune
That echoes in my heart.

Another day has come again,
As time moves surely on–
But nothing now seems quite the same,
To know that he is gone.
The days and weeks and months ahead
Will never be the same–
Because a treasure beyond words
Can never be replaced.

The loss cannot be measured now,
The void cannot be filled–
And though someday the grief may fade,
His mark will live on still.
For even with my heavy heart,
I know that I’ve been blessed
To have been one who’s life he touched
With warmth so infinite.

Sorry to hear of the loss of Joanne. She influenced many people and will be missed! Her EF work really helped open many families to some great experiences. She will be remembered fondly!

Thank you for takeing care of me, I was just one of The many children from. Europé that you helped place, and make memories that will last me forever. You will truly be missed even all The way from Sweden.

Dick and I are so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother and Grandmother Joanne. We cared about her and enjoyed many special occasions in her presence. We know you will miss her and we hope you find comfort in knowing that others share your grief. May she rest in peace.

I worked at the Ranger with Joanne for several years. She was always cheerful, bright and we had many discussions about politics, union membership and other topics. Sometimes I won, sometimes she won, but we always could hug and laugh about whatever we had discussed. She was a good person, and will be missed.

So sorry to learn of Joanne's death. Extending our deepest condolences. Have a lot of good memories of our horse trading and working together at the Ranger. Sorry I won't be able to attend services.

We are so sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. We enjoyed visiting her on many occasions at legislative functions. She was always very proud of her children. She will be missed by many.

Mary and I just learned of Joanne's passing. We were so very fond of her and so sorry to learn of your loss.

She was always good to both of us and we considered her to be a friend we could count on.

Joanne had a great influence on so many people. We are all better because of her. I can't think of anything but fun moments with her. There are people that simply can't be replaced. She will be missed and will never be forgotten.
I am very thankful for everything she has done for me.
