I'm so sorry to hear about Hyde's passing. I will keep you all in my prayers. Having experienced the the death of my husband at 55 and the death of my mother I understand the grief you are going through. Sincerely, Melody Carlson Jager.

Dear Nancy and Gary:
You are learning that there is no greater pain for parents than that of the death of a child. Throughout his illness and treatment, Hyde showed all that he was a great person and one tough cowboy from the Badwater Country. My prayers for comfort for his family and friends.

Hyde was one of the best friends to grow up with. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for all of you.

Mom and I are both glad we got to see Hyde last Monday and that he recognized us. But also that we got to let him know our love and prayers were with him and still are with his family and friends. We have alot of Lysite friends and memories. Hyde may have been a quiet gentleman but it's clear in his past year that he touched many lives and had alot of caring friends. Sincerely ,

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Shoop family. I have many fond memories of Hyde. On a couple of trips to the Philp ranch in the last few years I got to experience the morning coffee drinking and "discussions" around the table in the bunkhouse. There was plenty of story telling, and Hyde could keep up with the best. His ever present smile and quick wit will be remembered. He leaves this world far too young, but his pain and suffering are no longer. May he rest in peace.
