Friday, Stanford
I am deeply saddened that we have lost Stan. All of you, my cousins, are in my prayers, as is Stan. He always had a good attitude when I saw him. We all have our weaknesses, and Stan had his too. I will always remember the time when we were cleaning up after Grandpa Joe Goggles funeral at St. Stephens Keel Gym. He was helping us put away things, and he accidentally dunked his head in a barrell of water while he had paint on. He took care of that later with the elders, but that day he seemed so shocked that he forgot. It could have seemed serious, but in another way, the "Stan way" it was a little comical. Just Stan being Stan.
My soul aches a little losing another one of our extended family. We are all close in our old ways. I will miss him now whenever I see a barrell of water. (kidding) I cry now not only for the loss of Stan, but for the pain of loss for all the family he leaves. I truly believe we will be together again in the next world. I know in my heart we will see him again.
Be strong my family, and be there for each other. I regret that I cannot be there for you. But all of you will stay in my prayers now and in the future. May the Great Spirit watch over your days.
I am so sorry to hear of Stanford's passing. I have many fond memories of him and his sense of humor. You are in prayers.
