Dear Tompkins Family: We were very sad to learn of June's death here on earth but joyful to know that she is with the Lord in her eternal heavenly home where death will be no more. We had the privilege not only of knowing June but of being her deacon family at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Hyrum. What a grand and adventuresome lady she was. Her tales of growing up on a ranch in Wyoming were always exciting, and sometimes downright funny, and they would always conjure up images of a time and place from long ago that was very much a part of the person she was. Please accept our deepest sympathies to each of you. What a blessing June was to us and to many others at Emmanuel. Blessings to all!
Jim & Jennie Parrish - 5/16/2014Dearest Family,
We were so sorry to learn that June is no longer with us, but comforted in knowing we will see her again soon.
We so much enjoyed June, Don, and the kids...Dan, Wayne, Curt and Kathy (and Mom, Velma) while we were all in Logan and enjoyed the First Baptist Church there. We have many happy memories that we continue to enjoy. June was a very special person, a dear friend to all.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love, Jim and Jerrie Hicks
I shared many wonderful years with June in our women's bible study and church services at both Maranatha Baptist and Emmanuel Baptist churches. She was always so positive and giving of her service to others. I have missed her sweet smile!
You have my sympathy and thoughts during this time.

I am sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. She was a wonderful lady. I remember her from my younger years at the First Baptist Church of Logan and later Emmanuel baptist in Hyrum.
Deepest sympathy,
I was blessed to drive June to church service while she attended Emmanuel Baptist. My in-laws were born and raised in Wyoming and resided outside of Jackson Hole for many years. It was fun to share Wyoming stories back and forth as we traveled to church. June was a women who loved The Lord and shared with me that she was ready to face her Savior whenever her time on earth should come to an end. I know she is rejoicing in her heavenly home and glad also that there will be no more long Wyoming winters in her future. May you be in peace my dear friend!
